Wooden Pink Train Set with Unicorn
FAQ
A very cute set! Would make a great addition to any train-embracing toy collection— boy or girl!My son is older but we have always built train track setups together, and the wooden are our favorite. All of ours are pretty neutral, so I just had to get this one that actually has some pink in it. We like castles and unicorns and princesses just as much as anybody else lol. Now that he’s older and makes more elaborate scenes around the tracks, this makes a perfect addition and helps bring some balance—which as a mom, I love and appreciate. The quality seems decent. Being pretty familiar with this type of product, I know it’s next to impossible to keep all the colored paint intact.. so there are some tiny areas on several pieces where there’s paint missing .. not really a huge deal for me because it’s just something that typically happens. They aren’t in horrible condition or anything like that. All the pieces seem sturdy and well-made; the only thing that may eventually weaken over a long period of time is that paint (again… expected, not a complaint lol).Just a heads up, particularly if you’re giving as a gift, you’re going to want to make sure you have something to put them in after you’ve opened the box because it’s packed tight and just right, and it’s difficult to get it back in such a way that everything fits and slides back into the original (not totally impossible, but time consuming). I know I’m the kind of person that checks to make sure all parts are there (they’re all here for this) before giving as a gift. Some of the pieces are wrapped in tissue paper, but not all, and it seemed kind of random to me, like there was not discernible distinction between the wrapped and unwrapped, and a couple of the wrapped were some of the ones with tiny areas of paint missing, so my first thought upon opening the box—that some are wrapped so the paint wouldn’t chip as things shifted during transport—didn’t really add up because some of the wrapped were chipped and not all of the painted pieces were wrapped. Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning.. particularly the part about having some kind of storage option ready to go upon unboxing. All in all, it’s a cute little set that would be a great starter set or an addition to a collection many years in the making. We’re excited to have some typically “girly” options available now to balance out our big scenes and to create different storylines to go with. The price seems a bit up there to me, but I think that about everything anymore. For nowadays, it’s probably right on-par for what to expect as a decent price for this type of toy. It would make a great gift and I don’t think anyone would be disappointed with the purchase.
This sturdy, 72 piece, fairy, wooden train set contains pink trains, castles, fairies, angels, unicorns, trees, and more. It also has 2 bridge styles and a castle outline and a lot of track. It is compatable with other name-brand train tracks. It is easy to set up and it seems to be very durable and it fits with our existing magnetic wooden trains and wooden train tracks we already own. We are very happy with this toy. The colors are vibrant and colorful and it is comparable in price with other sets

I am a SainSmart Jr. fangirl, and I won't apologize. By now, I have probably tested a dozen or more of their products, and I am never disappointed. This train set is no exception. The quality is outstanding, the colors are vibrant and beautiful, and the variety of accessories lets the imagination run wild. (And one of the trains is pulled by a unicorn!)I can't express enough how much I appreciate the more girl-focused theme of this set. (Though my best friend tells me her 4-year-old son loves rainbows, so we all know it's not just for girls.) I loved BRIO trains as a kid and would have loved to have had a set like this.Like all wood train sets of this style, the options for construction and creativity are endless. And if you have more than one set, you could really build a mega railroad town. There are two trains, both with magnet attachments, as you'd expect. There are two bridges: an arch bridge and the castle. There are trees in multiple colors, a rainbow, multiple little character figurines (the princess looks just like Princess Peach!), and plenty of other blocks and structures to build whatever fantasy land your child's imagination can conjure. This is a HUGE win in my book, at a very fair price.
Arrived packaged very well. Seems to be good quality wooden tracks and they are compatible with the 30+ year old BRIO ones I have. I am happy with the overall quality of the set, one thing to note, and this isn't surprising given the way of the world, the wood used seems to be lighter duty than the old BRIO ones. Still good quality, but not that classic old world quality you get with BRIO. Great quality and quantity of pieces for the price.
