Right off the bat I took 1 star off for the incorrect spelling of imagination on the storage box. Other than the spelling error the storage box is really nice! I used to have a wooden log cabin set when I was a kid and had a lot of fun building random log structures. This set reminds me a lot of my old classic toys and my kid has a lot of fun with these. The wooden logs are good quality, no splinters or anything sharp, and they fit well when you build up a log cabin. You get a ton of logs, some long, some short, and also roof tiles, and a few extras like some random vehicles. With 480 pieces you can build a lot of things! It also comes with a nice storage box that can fit all the logs, really useful since otherwise you'd have to figure out a storage solution for all these blocks. These are a lot of fun, it's fun to see the kid make log walls and other else, and it helps creativity and train hand eye coordination.

The logs and planks are well finished, didn't notice any rough edges or splinters. Price is reasonable, play value is epic, great for parents and grandparents to bring back memories of their own childhood, just rememebr to let the kids build somethign too. Highly recommended.

This set has well-formed, solid wood pieces that are just like my old Lincoln Log set from decades ago. They even have an almost identical scent. The pieces are smooth and easy to stack with the large grooves. This set has plenty of pieces to make several structures at once. The wood is protectively sanded, edges are rounded, and it won't give splinters. The pieces are chunky in size and perfect for small hands to build without help. I used mine when I was around 3 through 6, and I'd say that's a good range for this set as well. An inventory/instruction sheet is included, giving directions for 5 different buildings. I also received the 306 piece set and both are consistently high quality and nicely packaged. This set is made to last and can be passed down for decades. It comes in the storage box shown, then an extra box over that for protection. It arrived in excellent condition.
