Very cool!

This rocket is sooo cool! It's hard to believe this little guy can go up to 200 feet! It is very lightweight but still stable. It's simple enough for set up and comes with detailed instructions. I love that it can be recharged so you don't have to keep feeding it batteries. Overall a really nice item and not a bad value!

Easy to Use, Rechargeable, Durable, Flies High, Launch in Open Space

This is an amazingly cool little motorized rocket toy that just about any kid would love. It's rechargeable so you don't have to worry about batteries running out and having to buy more. It doesn't have to charge too long, considering it can be launched a LOT of times on one charge. The material is a dense sturdy but light foam that makes it durable so it won't break even with rough landings and kids handling it, but also enables it to fly really high - it says up to 200 feet. It comes with a parachute built in that deploys when it reaches maximum altitude and enables it to gently drift back down to earth. It's easy to set up and launch, and performs perfectly every time. There are no dud launches. There's nothing to assemble - it's plug & play, ready to go basically out of the box once it's fully charged. You just have to make sure you go to a very open area with a lot of mostly empty land and no obstructions nearby like buildings it might land on top of or trees it could get stuck in, especially since it can float quite a distance away when landing if there is a lot of wind. The kids love chasing it too as it's coming down, trying to catch it before it hits the ground. This is a great affordable STEM toy that kids will have a blast playing with, so it would make a wonderful gift! ! I have no complaints!

Great toy

This is not the rockets I grew up with but it is a lot of fun. I only was able to laugh it once due to winds and how light this was it will drift a ways. Not having to mess with solid rocket fuel and the fear of an accidental laugh or explosion on the launch pad is a plus. To be able to retrieve, repack chute, and relaunch is a winner. The rocket seems very durable and it was very easy to use. The price is a great value for the money and may have to buy a couple for the grandkids!

Goes SO high!

Wow!!! This little rocket toy is IMPRESSIVE! I could NOT believe how high it went! The kids figured out how to use it completely on their own - it's very user-friendly. You click the button once for a lower fly and twice for a high fly. It goes extremely high when you push both - so high you lose track of it in the sky. My kids were DELIGHTED and squealing every single time. The parachute deploys every time and they had so much fun running to chase it.Even though it goes so high and drops down every time, it has lasted so long! It's a pretty sturdy little gadget. You have to tuck the parachute back in before you can re-launch, but my 9 year old was able to figure out how to do it completely on his own. A younger child might need some help re-setting the parachute. You definitely want to go to an open field for this toy - it got stuck in trees several times on the way down, as you can't really steer it.My kids have had hours of fun playing with this rocket, and when we bring it to the park with a wide open field, it always draws a crowd of kids, which is so fun. It's definitely worth it!

[8/18/25 review of SainSmart Jr. Rocket Launcher for Kids when listed at $29.99]I got this for my grandson to play with when he comes over, but for testing purposes, Papa had to take it for a spin….& he wasn’t sad about it at all! I could see the little boy in him from set up to re-packing the parachute! The rocket came charged, & we love that it’s rechargeable. No messing with batteries! The instructions were easy to follow, & it operated well! Comparables (i.e., same launch distance) on Amazon are in the $20-30 range – putting this one at the upper end (hence the 4-star).
