Currently trains are my four year old son��s obsession. This set is great for not only play but can be used as part of the Christmas decorations. Although the tracks are all not the same color they all fit together to allow the toy trains to be pushed on the tracks. This set came with instructions and they were easy to follow. Once you put all the pieces together, you realize how big the complete set is. My son has been playing with this train set the last couple of days and has loved it!

This is a good quality wooden train set. The tracks are made of a more premium 'darker' toned wood than other wooden train sets that I have (and I have quite a few). What I like about these wooden train sets is that they are all compatible with each other (they all are basically Thomas and Friend's clones) and thus you can combine all the sets together and make one gigantic train world. The quality of the tracks is definitely at the upper end I've seen. The train itself is quite cute and really festivally colored. I really like the Christmas themed additions too like the Christmas tree and small Christmas related wooden figures. It's really fun to add these to an existing train world. This is a great little train toy set if it's your first or if you already have an existing collection.

Excellent quality, really well made toy for kids. My son loves this toy! Its easy to assemble for his age group and is fun hands-on learning to build and put together things. The quality of the wooden track and the pieces that go with it are excellent. They fit together easily. Overall, a really good gift for younger children.

SainSmart Jr wooden trains are my absolute favorite train tracks. I like their attention to detail and all the extras they think of. In this set the red bridge is a heavy plastic and feels very sturdy. There are Christmas themed wooden cutouts of trees, characters, buildings, etc. and a 4 piece train. The tracks are interchangeable with all previous wooden tracks we have. This is my 4th SainSmart Jr. Product and they are consistent in quality. This set is worth the price and your train lovers will not be disappointed.
