The wooden train track and trains is such a classic toy which is great for a variety of ages. We have a box of tracks and a few trains, but this set is a nice addition to our collection.Ever train piece in this set is uniquely designed with its own character. There are three locomotives and 9 cars, some passenger and some commercial style. You can mix and match the pieces as desired. If you want to use them as how the three sets come in the box then each set has different colour wheels to keep them organized in that way. Three of the cars have moveable pieces, the rest of solid one piece items.The items are all solidly designed and nicely painted with bright colours and no paint chips. The magnets on each item are adequately strong for easy hook up that stays together good when using but comes apart easily as well. The trains fit good on the wooden tracks, and move smoothly.The item comes in a nice wooden storage box, although the box does not have a lid, so you can either keep the cardboard box it comes in for a long as possible, or just have to store it carefully. Most of our trains just end up in a large bucket, so while the storage box is nice, it likely won’t get used very long before the set will get mixed in with the rest of the items we have.

I love this train set so much that I played with it for a good half an hour the first time I laid my hands on it. I can’t put it down even these days, so does our toddler son, who is barely 2-y-o. He goes straight to it once he gets home from kindergarten while making the too-tooo everyone on board sound every time. I think his reaction and enthusiasm speaks a lot about this toy.Aspects I appreciate very much:- great variety of train models; three tank engines, the rest are either transport, passenger, or utility wagons. Their shapes, functions, colours, all leave tons of room for imagination.- colourful themed, but harmonious and not kitschy at all;- compatible with wooden tracks from other makers of traditional wooden trains;- very well designed and crafted; attention to details can be observed at every corner, edge, and in every square inch of their paint;- includes a wooden, very presentable case, exactly as advertised, and great for either presentation or storage.- appear to be solid and durable despite some rough handling of our kid; likely to last a long time before his interests fade away.

My two year old son really loves trains but he's still too young to play with more intricate train toys, so instead we got him this kit and we are super happy with it. The train in itself is quite basic and easy to use which is exactly what were looking for. The tracks are easy to assemble and it's quite easy for him to be able to align the wheels on the track so he can move the train. The wagons have different designs to them and different colors, which makes them all unique. The wagons are linked to each other using magnets, which makes it very easy and simple for my son to understand how to link them together. Some wagons also have creative ways to play with them, making them even more fun.I like that these pieces are also very well made and sanded properly, with no way for a kid to get injured from a splinter or sharp corners. This being wood also ensures this toy will last a while compared to some of the cheaper plastic options. As an added bonus, this train also makes for great decor in his room.

This is a nice simple toy for a toddler. A wooden container that holds three trains. Each train is a different color and has four cars. The trains all have magnetic connectors so it's just a magnetic attraction that holds them together. The toy conforms with ASTM F963 and the CPSIA ( The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act) which should offer peace of mind. Everything about it is well made. I would it again, no question.
